Everything You NEED to Know Before the Final Episodes of the Bachelor

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clemson chapter.

Our Bachelor, Peter Weber (or Pilot Pete as the Bachelor fan base refers to him), is making his second appearance on Bachelor Nation. His first appearance was on Hannah Brown’s season of the Bachelorette, Season 15. He and Hannah developed intense feelings for each other, resulting in our beloved bachelor making it to down the final three, our favorite part of the season: Fantasy Suites.

Now,  it is no question that our favorite contests get ~intimate~ during this time.  Hannah B. did NOT keep this a secret. She revealed, after lying the first time she was asked, that she and Peter had slept together not twice but FOUR times underneath the infamous windmill.

But Hannah Ann’s dad was very aggressive and didn’t want Peter to tell her he loved her unless he meant it. This man was also SO funny. He gave ZERO f**** about Peter and anything he had to say. AND he asked Peter not to tell Hannah Ann he loved her, resulting in Peter going and doing it anyway! Let me tell you, my reaction was the same as Hannah Ann’s dad’s facial expression the entire date. Not a good move, Peter. The only way to get to a girl is through her father, hasn’t anyone ever taught you that?

Next is a fan favorite, Victoria F…. JUST KIDDING.

Victoria wasn’t always this big of a mess. In the runway episode, she pretended to be shy and insecure and cried about losing to Hannah Ann, making her seem oh so innocent and tricking us into rooting for her and feeling bad for her.

And can I just say that her and Peter’s relationship has been nothing less than extremely  f*cking confusing! Victoria and Peter had their first one-on-one which started off super cute. Peter surprised her with a ride in a plane, which had her sh*tting her pants the whole time.

Then he brought her to an amusement park where they rode roller coasters and then ended the date with a private Chase Rice concert. Adorable right?? Wrong.  It just so happens that Victoria and Chase Rice are EXES! Yes, juicy stuff. After watching the most awkward date ever, Victoria finally decides to let Peter know. Peter seemed so hurt and really just wanted to talk about it, but with Victoria’s pushy attitude, the issue became irrelevant very quickly. The night ended with Peter being typical Peter, a complete pushover, accepted no answer as good enough and giving Victoria the rose. WYD Pilot Pete??

Victoria and her sass stayed in the background for a little and she focused her energy more on slandering other girls, but this didn’t last long. Final four rolled around and this meant hometowns. Peter went to Virginia Beach to spend time with Victoria and meet her family. Their day included a trip to a bar (odd choice of venue but okay) where a mysterious Merissa came into play.

So it turns out, funny enough, Peter and Merissa dated in the past, and Merissa and Victoria are NOT friends. May I just add that blurring out her face was SO unnecessary? Her name is Merissa Pence, so you can go look her up if you’d like.

So, she warned Peter of Victoria and told him to be careful. Our sweet homewrecker Victoria (if you haven’t heard about that, google it)  is put on the spot by Pilot Pete once again. Peter asks Victoria about Merissa’s warning, as one should after hearing such news this far along into the process, and classic Victoria responds with… nothing. LITERALLY nothing. She gives Peter the SASSIEST response I’ve ever heard and it consisted of “Peter, I don’t know what you want me to say,” “I guess this is done,” “Peter what do you want from me?” and “I guess this means we are done.”

And let me add these were the EXACT same responses she gave him when he asked her about Chase Rice.

So basically we aren’t really sure why she is still here. She is too sassy to handle. And has really nothing more to offer than pure entertainment if I do say so myself.

Last, but definitely not least, is Madison. Madison started off strong with the first one-on-one date, which was a tear-jerker. Peter’s parents renewed their vows in a beautiful ceremony that Madison was able to attend with Peter. It was at this point when Madison stole our hearts. Her beautiful smile and her ability to stay out of drama make her seem too good to be true.

The twist? None, unless you want to call being very close to her faith a twist. Madison reveals that she is looking for a husband who wants to lead her future family in faith. And what’s wrong with that? Peter doesn’t think there is anything wrong with it either and agrees to her terms.

Oh wait, there IS a twist.  Madison is also the virgin of the season.

This really is no issue with this. However, we saw in the previews for Fantasy Suites that she seems to give Peter some conditions, saying that she will not be able to commit to him if he is intimate with another one of the girls. UH OH! Putting Peter on the spot seems to have been working for most girls from the start (Mykenna, Tammy, Sydney, etc.) So who knows how this will go down.

However, she does seem to be the fan-favorite and (in my opinion) too good for Peter.

So, who do I think is going to win? I have no friggin clue. Hannah Ann seems like she just wants a boyfriend,  Victoria F. and her sass just need to go, and Madison needs to realize she can do better.

As for Peter? I’m just praying that one day he will be blessed with the ability to make a good decision… on his OWN.
