10 Binge-Worthy Shows You Can Watch RIGHT NOW on Netflix

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clemson chapter.

Every time I come home, my parents are just as shocked to hear me say, “I don’t watch cable.” I can’t help it! I’m a Gen Z who has gotten used to on-demand streaming services and consuming media at my own leisure. I even streamed the impeachment vote!

But still, everyone reaches a point where they feel like they’ve exhausted the Netflix catalog and have nothing to watch. Well, fear not. Here are 10 shows I can re-watch at any time!

Russian Doll

This trippy, complex show is fun enough to keep you laughing while still being mysterious enough to keep you intrigued. If anything, the second viewing is even more enjoyable because you can find all the hidden clues.

Bob’s Burgers

To be honest, there’s never a time where I’m not re-watching Bob’s Burgers. These characters are hilarious, relatable, and loveable. I recommend this show to everyone!

Parks & Recreation

Who doesn’t love Parks and Rec? This show is iconic, and if you haven’t caught up, get it on it before it leaves Netflix!

Big Mouth

Yes, this is raunchy, but if you enjoy that type of humor, you’ll love this show. Somehow, it’s outlandish but captures the essence of puberty better than anything else I’ve ever seen. You can watch the whole show again or pick up an occasional episode, and you’ll love it either way.

Cold Case Files

I’m a huge true crime nerd, and this is really one of the best true crime shows I’ve ever seen. These stories are captivating, and if you want to see some overdue justice get served, queue this up.

Schitt’s Creek

The name “David” will never be the same again. This family is hilarious, and as you watch them grow over the seasons, it’s so heartwarming.

The End of the F***ing World

Bonnie and Clyde as awkward British teenagers? Yes, please!

Seriously though, this show deals with real, raw subjects, and it does it so beautifully.

Gossip Girl

Is this show even remotely realistic? Of course not, none of them have done a single homework assignment! Sometimes, the inaccuracies make it even better. I’ve seen Gossip Girl several times, and I still care for these characters deeply (though the last season sucks, tbh).

The Politician

This is another newer show to my re-watch list, but I adore it nonetheless. The characters, the story, and the themes are so well designed that it’s mindblowing.

The Umbrella Academy

Sometimes, you need some gritty, authentic superheroes, and this show delivers.

Mayme Medlock is a junior at Clemson University, studying political science with an emphasis in international relations. In her free time, you'll find her chasing cute dogs, talking about studying abroad in the Balkans, watching copious amounts of Netflix, and putting people at ease when they question her name's pronunciation (May-m, not May-me).
