Trump Announces National Emergency

President Donald Trump announced Friday morning that he plans to declare a national emergency to secure the funding for the wall he has promised since his campaign.

"I'm going to be signing a national emergency," Trump said.

A national emergency could allow Trump to spend money on the walll from military and other accounts. Legally, however, other challenges will likely delay the spending for a long time.

Trump talked of human traffickers and drugs "flowing across the boarder."

"We have so much money, we don't know what to do with it," Trump said.

According to Trump construction has already started.

"We need new wall," Trump said. "As soon as I get into the Oval Office, I'll sign the papers."

Trump said he expects to be sued.
