Riverdale announced that the show will dedicate its most recent episode and all episodes to come to Luke Perry, after his death March 4.
Perry played Archie Andrew’s father, Fred Andrews in the TV show.
“Our heart, always,” announced Roberto Aguirre Sacasa, executive producer.
The CW collectively released a statement.
“Luke was everything you would hope he would be: an incredibly caring, consummate professional with a giant heart, and a true friend to all. A father figure and mentor to the show’s young cast, Luke was incredibly generous, and he infused the set with love and kindness.”
Several members of the cast have also shared tributes. Lilli Reinhart shared a poem. Cole Sprouse said how much of a “well-loved person” Perry was.
