Proof That Marshall And Lily Are #CoupleGoals On “How I Met Your Mother”

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clark chapter.

“How I Met Your Mother” may be off Netflix, but that doesn’t mean it’s not an amazing show. Created in 2005, the series follows Ted Mosby’s life through flashbacks as he tells his kids in the future how he met their mother. While Ted may be the center of the stories, his friends from college, Marshall adn Lily, are definitely #CoupleGoals, and here’s why.

1. Marshall loves Lily endlessly

2. And Lily loves Marshall a ton too

3. And they have nicknames to prove it

4. They call each other out on the bullsh*t

5. They’re sassy together

6. They created a beautiful family

7. But they still act young

8. They call each other every lunch to say what they’re having and tell each other “I love you”

9. They work through the hard moments too
