With midterm season passing or still around, it is important to find your perfect study

spot. Where you study can heavily impact your score on a test and how much

information you obtain during the session. If you are not comfortable in your spot, you

will have trouble focusing. If you are content and comfortable, you will obtain more

information needed for you to be successful with your exam. Here are some places to

consider for studying:

College or town library

I know the library is not for everyone, it surely isn’t for me but it is for others.

Most libraries are structured to where it gets quieter in levels as you go up. So if

you need absolute silence, try the 5th floor. If you like to have background noise,

the first floor is a good spot.

Cafe

Grabbing a cup of coffee or tea, a scone or muffin, at your local cafe may make cafe the perfect

study spot for you. It could be the aroma of coffee or the cozy feeling inside

which comforts you when studying. Many people utilize cafe’s like a study area,

just look at google maps for cafes around your area.

Park

Being trapped in a building may not be the ideal situation for some, having

fresh air as you are studying may be motivating. Listening to the birds chirping,

leaves falling and wind blowing is relaxing. Just make sure the breeze doesn’t blow away

your papers!

Wherever your study spot is, make it yours!
