This week we sat down with one of our contributing writers, Samantha Poole! Sam is an RA on campus and one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet! Read on to find out more about her.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a Junior at Clark University double majoring in French and English. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, figure skating and reading.
What’s your role on the Her Campus Clark team?
I am a contributing writer at Her Campus Clark.
What’s your favorite thing about winter?
My favorite thing about winter is definitely the holiday season everything that it entails! Spending lots of time with family, baking, gift giving and cuddling up with a book on those cold winter days.
How do you stay calm through finals season?
I try to stay calm during finals season by being very organized. I make lists of everything I should be trying to accomplish whenever I study so that I know everything I need to think about and when all of my assignments are due. It really helps me, and I love the feeling of accomplishment when I check things off of my agenda.
What are you most looking forward to over Winter Break?
I’m really looking forward to getting to spend time with my family and having some time to read books for pleasure as opposed to reading them for a book report.
Vanilla or chocolate?
It depends! Ice Cream: vanilla, Cake: chocolate. It depends on my mood, too!
Summer or winter?
I’d have to say winter, but my favorite season is fall.
Cats or dogs?
Dogs for sure.
Iced or hot coffee?
Iced tea, coffee really isn’t my thing.
Parks and Recreation or The Office?
You’re going to judge me, but I’ve never seen either!
