Meet the Team: Julia Baldacci

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clark chapter.

This week we sat down with the newest member of the Her Campus team, Julia Baldacci, to get her take on fall semester and being a part of Her Campus. Read on to find out more about her!

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m a sophomore from Winchester, Massachusetts, undeclared but interested in English and Film Studies. I’m hoping to explore more opportunities and get more involved on campus this year. I’m especially excited to be joining Best Buddies, a really cool nonprofit organization that allows volunteers to be paired up with a buddy with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

What’s your role on the Her Campus Clark team?

I’m a new member of Clark’s HC chapter, and I’m really looking forward to writing and working with all the members of the team.

What’s your favorite thing about Fall?

Getting to wear yoga pants and changing up my wardrobe from shorts to pants and flip flops to boots! As much as I love the summer, fall fashion is a lot more fun.

What are you most looking forward to this Fall semester?

I’m really excited to celebrate Halloween on campus! I’m a member of The Rocky Horror Picture Show committee for CUFS’s annual screening of the movie. It should be a blast, candy and spookiness makes everything better.

What’s your favorite thing about Clark right now?

Honestly just being back and seeing my friends. I really like all of my classes this semester too, and I missed the friendly squirrels on campus that aren’t afraid of anything!

Quick, This or That!

Vanilla or chocolate? Vanilla.

Summer or winter? Summer.

Cats or dogs? Dogs!

Iced or hot coffee? Neither, not much of a coffee drinker.

Friends or The Office? This killed me a little because I love both so much, but The Office definitely has a special place in my heart so I’m going to have to go with that.

Thanks, Julia!

Alexis is a student at Clark University studying Spanish and Political Science. When she's not at the library you can find her watching Netflix (probably Bones or The Office), on the elliptical, on KJP's instagram, or reading the news. She's passionate about politics, travel, and fashion. Her goals for the future include getting a job after graduation and trying to live the ideal New England lifestyle. Alexis is very excited to be a new Campus Correspondent along with Annabelle Merlin. HCXO!
