Five Things to Do on Halloween that Aren't Go to a Party

Not all of us like parties and on Halloweekend, it can feel like parties are the only thing going on. Here's five suggestions for what to do this Halloween that aren't parties.

  1. 1. Go to a Midnight Screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show

This cult tradition is perfect for people who like B-Horror movies and the 70's.

  2. 2. Spooky Movie Night

Get some friends together, check out Netflix and screen your favorite mixture of spooky and silly movies to mock and enjoy.

  3. 3. Bake!

Get together with some friends and each make a dessert. When you're done, mix and match so that everyone goes home with a variety of goodies. Freeze what you won't eat right away and live your best sweet-tooth life.

  4. 4. Craft

So, you didn't carve a pumpkin this year. That doesn't mean you can't get in on the Halloween fun. Try painting some pumpkins or check out Pinterest.

  5. 5. Read!

It's so rare to have free time in college. So, this Halloween, curl up with some tea/cocoa, a spooky/magical  story (think Dracula, Frankenstein, or Harry Potter) and take some time for yourself.

All this to say, you don't have to go out to have fun this Halloween. Enjoy your Halloween the way that works best for your and don't beat yourself for not fitting the mold.
