As part of the Keep America Beautiful national initiativie, America Recylces Day is celebrated November 15, 2019.
This is the 22nd anniversary of the holiday and is the only nationally-recognized day to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States.
The recycling rate has increased from less than 7 percent in 1960 to a current rate of over 35 percent.
Each year, companies support the day throughout the country.
