This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clark chapter.

Are you spending the summer in Worcester and need ways to fill up your free time? Look no further! Here is a list of some great activities in and around the city that will keep you busy all summer long.

Summer Concert Series – Park Spirit of Worcester is offering a free summer concert series in both Elm Park (right down the street from Clark!) and Newton Square. The concerts will take place on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm in Elm Park and Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm in Newton Square. They’ll feature a variety of genres of music, and you can check out their website for all of the information. Try bringing a blanket and a picnic dinner and enjoy a nice summer’s evening in the park with friends!

Rent a Kayak on Lake Quinsigamond – Just a few miles from Clark, Lake Quinsigamond is a hot spot for summer fun! Regatta Point Community Sailing offers kayak, paddle boat, paddle board, canoe and sailboat rentals for very reasonable prices. Grab some friends and head down to the lake for a fun day on the water! Once you’re done, go grab a classic “Regatta Italian Grinder” at Regatta Deli just up the street. Trust us, this grinder puts all others to shame!
