3 Movies To See In Theaters During Fall Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clark chapter.

This weekend is Fall Break, and that means there’s plenty of time to catch up on some movies! Two of these I’m seeing this weekend, and one I highly recommend.

1. Venom

This movie starring Tom Hardy is about Marvel’s Spiderman villain, following Eddie Brock’s journey with his alter-ego “Venom.” Directed by Ruben Fleischer, Venom has mixed reviews right now. It has a 7.1 on IMDb and a 29% on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing.

2. A Star is Born

Jackson Maine (played by Bradley Cooper) discovers and falls in love with another artist, Ally (played by Lady Gaga). He helps her find fame, and the two grow and evolve in their careers together. It has a 8.6 on IMDb and a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing.

3. A Simple Favor

This movie has so many twists and turns, you’ll be captivated until the end. A Simple Favor follows Stephanie (played by Anna Kendrick) as she uncovers the truth behind her best friend Emily (played by Blake Lively) after her sudden disappearance. The movie has a 7.2 on IMDb and a 84% on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing.
