Let me start by saying Happy Valentine’s Day. I hope everyone celebrates with their significant other, families, or friends. Valentine’s day isn’t just about being in love with someone or sharing it with a significant other. The best Valentines are the people that make you laugh and just make you happy.

I’ve always spent my valentine’s day with my mom or my friends. I have wanted to share it with my boyfriend, but that’s the hard part about long distance relationships. I can’t spend this day with him because it’s in the middle of the week.

My friends have always made this day better for me. Get a group of your girlfriends together and go out to eat. Get dressed up and take cute pictures. Go see the new romantic movie or chick flick.

And of course, my mom sends me a valentine’s day card every year. I never expected to get so excited about a card in college. But seeing that card from my mom, always made my day special.

Spread the love this Valentine’s day.
