Everyone deserves to pamper themselves, but that gets difficult when you’re on a budget. Here are a couple low cost ideas that I’ve used and liked!

Vanilla Brown Sugar Scrub

I tried this recipe over the summer and LOVED it. You’ll need:

1 cup brown sugar

½ cup of coconut oil (any oil will work)

½ teaspoon vitamin E oil

1 teaspoon real vanilla extract

I also put in some lavender essential oil to help calm the skin.

Once you have everything together, grab a bowl and put all the ingredients in and mix. You can add more oil if needed.  That’s it! Just use it before you shower and feel amazing.

The complete recipe I followed is here: https://www.somewhatsimple.com/vanilla-brown-sugar-scrub/

Another recipe I’ve used and really liked is a homemade pore reducer. For this recipe you need:

1 teaspoon of baking soda

½ teaspoon of lemon juice (using the bottled juice is the best I’ve noticed)

1 table spoon of sugar

½ table spoon of olive oil (again you can really use any can you like)

Again I added lavender and eucalypts essential oils as well.

You want to mix everything until it becomes a paste, you can add more baking soda as needed. You then scrub it on your face and let it set for around thirty minutes. After wash it off and apply your favorite moisturizer.

So have a girls night and try these recipes!
