A year ago we launched our Her Campus chapter. A lot has changed since that time. We became pink status, which is pretty amazing for us only being live for a year. Her Campus has changed me in many aspects. I learned how to express myself through my writing as well as become more confident in my writing. It’s so much fun to write about something new each week, it makes my mind think. I learned how to form a support system, my team supports one another in our writings, we share each other’s articles which makes everyone feel like they did a great job. Another thing I learned was to be a team player. Everyone puts in their best effort to make our chapter the best it possibly can be. Courtney, who is in charge of our chapter, makes everyone feel amazing about their articles and tries to make everything fun for us. She has had parties for us to celebrate our successes and plans bonding events so we can all get closer to one another. I’m so proud of what we all have accomplished over this past year and I cant wait to see what the next year has in store for us.
