Five Shows I’ll Be Tuning Into This Spring

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clarion chapter.

I will admit that I am not a huge TV-watcher, as I prefer movies; however, I always have at least one or two shows that I try to keep up with. These are the current/future shows that I will be tuning into this spring. Spoiler alert! I am huge fan of reality TV shows, and I can promise you that all of the shows on this list will be reality TV shows.

1. Rupaul’s Drag Race

The show is currently on its tenth season, and at the time of writing this article, it is only three weeks in. You can tune into Rupaul’s Drag Race every Thursday night on VH1 at 8/7C and the episodes have been running for an hour and a half. I highly suggest this show if you love comedy, drama and fashion.

2. Survivor: Ghost Island

Every time a new season of Survivor starts airing, I always tune in for the first few episodes, and ultimately stop watching it. I don’t know why this pattern occurs so often with this show, I genuinely enjoy watching it, but I plan to make it through all of Survivor: Ghost Island. You can tune into Survivor every Wednesday on CBS at 8/7C.

3. Teen Mom OG/Teen Mom: Young + Pregnant

I have been following the lives of the Teen Mom OG stars since they appeared on 16 and Pregnant, but I have also missed a good bit of their filmed lives in the last nine years. I have been tuning in lately to both Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant, and I hope I can continue to do that throughout this spring. Both shows air every Monday night on MTV, with Teen Mom OG airing at 9/8C and Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant airing at 10/9C.

4. Ex On The Beach

This show has yet to premiere, but I did see a lot of familiar faces of people in the previews shown, and I am very intrigued. This show has various reality stars trying to find love, only to be surprised with their ex. I am excited to see if I will enjoy the show or not, especially because this show originated from MTV international. The show debuts on April 19th at 9/8C on MTV.

5. The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars

Lastly, I will most definitely be tuning in to watch the second season of The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars. I have been a huge fan of The Challenge series for years, and since Vendettas has mostly wrapped up at this point, I was very excited to hear the announcement of this show. The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars will begin premiering  on April 17th at 10/9C on MTV.
