12 Fun Activities To Spice Up Your Bucket List This Fall

When the weather starts getting a chill in the air, or when leaves start changing, you know you’ve officially hit the best season. Fall! Not because of pumpkins, crunchy leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, or Halloween. But, it’s the best season for fun activities that you should put on your bucket list this 2018 season.

  1. Decorate for Fall: Nothing Screams Fall like digging out your fall themed decorations from the attic or garage, and starting to add touches of the fall season throughout your home. Whether it’s adding different shades of pumpkins, placing garland full of red, orange, or yellow leaves on your mantle, stocks of corn on your front porch, or simply lighting your favorite fall candles. Either way, it will leave you in a festival mood! 
  2. Burn Fall Candles: It’s officially time to go to spend your money at your favorite shops like Bath and Body Works or Yankee Candle and buy some delicious smelling fall scented candles. Not only does it leave a lovely aroma in your space, but it also brings a warm, cozy vibe as well. I’d recommend either Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin or Harvest Welcome! Either one will not disappoint any Fall enthusiast! 
  3. PSL: Every Fall lover knows that it’s not officially the season without without sipping on a delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. But, what if you don’t want to buy it? No worries, there are some amazing recipes out there to make In your very own home! Either way, make sure to go and grab your delectable Fall Coffee before it’s gone or make sure to make it before the Fall season is officially over!  P.S. lets be honest it’s never too late or soon to have a PSL! 
  4. Go Visit Your Local Orchard: Are you Looking for a fun fall activity? Don’t have a lot of money to spend?  Why not go apple picking at your local Orchard? A lot of owner’s love when new customers come, and take home their delectable items. So, don’t hesitate, go look online or get recommendations on great places to go apple picking. Plus, not only is it tons of fun, but you ALSO get to take home crisp, sweet apples. Yum. 
  5. Visit Your Local Pumpkin Patch: One of the BEST activities to do with your family or friends during the Fall season is to go to your local pumpkin patch. Not only is it affordable, but most places have tons of activities to do, such as hayrides, barn animals interactions, food vendors, and experience nature at it’s finest! One of the BEST fall activities to do is go to your local pumpkin patch. Go pick your own pumpkin, ride on a hayride, and experience nature at it’s finest. P.S. Don’t forget to grab your favorite pumpkin to take home and carve it for Halloween!! 
  6. Host A Bonfire: Still want something fun to do? But, are out of ideas? This season, why not invite a group of your friends over and enjoy a night under the stars with a bonfire! Not only it’s it the perfect weather to do it with the chill in the air, but it’ll give you a chance to make some yummy treats, such as s’mores! There are so delicious recipes out there! 
  7. Drink Apple Cider: If you don’t like coffee, then why not try apple cider? It’s refreshing, and sweet. Plus, did you know that you can drink it hot or cold? Talk about having it your way! Now, ASAP go grab yourself a gallon of apple cider from your local orchard or supermarket. I promise you it’s the best drink you will have for the Fall season!  
  8. Go through A Corn Maze: If pumpkin patches, and apple orchards aren’t your thing, why not go get yourself lost in a corn maze?  Not only is it a challenge, but super fun! It’s even better to do it with your family or a group of friends. So, do your research NOW for the best corn mazes within your area, sometimes you can find them that are “haunted” for thrill seekers. I promise either option is worth your time! 
  9. Jump Into A Pile of Leaves: Do you remember as a child one of your parents raking up leaves in your front or backyard? And how excited you got, because that meant you could jump into them? Well, no matter how old you get, you know how fun it is to do. So, next time your done raking your yard, why not jump into that crunchy pile of leaves like you did as a child? It’s fun and brings back a ton of memories!  
  10. Movie Marathon: Whether it’s “It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” or “Hocus Pocus” nothing signifies fall more than a nostalgic Halloween movie night! Grab your cup of apple cider, hot chocolate, or your pumpkin spice latte. Next, get cozy by grabbing your favorite soft blanket, and snuggle up on the couch or in your bed and watch all your favorite Fall/Halloween movies! P.S. Which one is your favorite? 
  11. See the Color Fall Foliage: Whether you go for a drive, or a stroll through the neighborhood, don’t forget to enjoy the beauty of nature around you. Most people think that Fall is the end of Earth’s beauty. They couldn’t be more wrong. It’s Earth’s way of showing it’s true beauty. So, take time out of your day or week and go enjoy that beauty around you by watching the colors of the leaves change! It’s not only gorgeous but magical! 
  12. Carve Pumpkins: Last but not least, make sure to grab that pumpkin you got from your local pumpkin patch, and  carve a pumpkin this season. Whether it’s a Jack-o-lantern or spooky cat, make sure to display your creations with a candle or light inside on your front porch! 

While Fall has just begun, it’s never too early to start marking these fun activities off your bucket list. Most of these activities costs little too no money, and it’s a great way to celebrate the season with some loved ones or friends! And if your a Fall lover like myself, it will bring you into the Fall spirit as well! So my friends, as always…
