This past week, UC Paws and Stripes, a campus organization that raises money for the US War Dog Association hosted their first annual ‘Howl-O-Ween’ event! Pups and their owners strutted their stuff down the runway in hopes of winning a $25 gift card to PetSmart. The runway was filled with crocodiles, hotdogs, beanie babies and much more. Even if you didn’t have a dog to enter there were games such as corn hole and can jam, as well as lots of yummy treats to enjoy. Raffle baskets were also donated from local businesses that guests could enter to win. UCPS ‘Howl-O-Ween’ was a great stress reliever from classwork plus who doesn’t love puppies? Make sure to watch out for more Paws and Stripes events on campus!
