We’ve all heard the famous quote “I like my men the same way I like my coffee: tall and dark”. But if you ask any coffee-addict, it’s almost always guaranteed to hear her say that she prefers coffee to any man any day. Knowing this to be true, here are a few of the many reasons as to why we coffee-addicts drink it several times a day.
1. It is impossible to be sad while drinking a cup of coffee.
Even if your day has gone a little bitter, there is nothing like a cup of coffee to warm up your soul and heal the mind. It’s impossible to be sad when drinking a piping hot cup of Heaven.
2. It’s the first thing you think about it in the morning.Let’s be honest, even those who claim to be “morning people” can’t force a smile or friendly greeting until they’ve had their daily cup of joe. As soon as the alarm goes off in the morning, the first thing that consumes our thoughts is how wonderful that coffee is going to taste. The only thing more wonderful? If the coffee could deliver itself directly to your bed.
3. Coffee takes you from one extreme to the other.
4. Versatility
We coffee-addicts have learned the in’s and out’s of coffee. There are hundreds of ways for it to be served and we all know which way we like it. And it doesn’t get old because we have multiple favorites and even back-up orders at Starbucks.
5. It’s just that freakin’ awesome.
Face it, we don’t even have to create a list as to why we love coffee, because chances are if you’re here reading this- you love it just as much as we do. And if you’ve never had coffee, we highly suggest it. It’s life changing.
