College students are always looking for cheap and fun things to do on the weekends, right? I know I am, and I’ve definitely found a gem. The Old West Fest in Williamsburg, Ohio is only 20 minutes from campus and most importantly it’s only $10! It’s a great get-away from campus for the day and if you need more convincing, here are some reasons to go!1. Live, authentic, country music!

I mean, who wouldn’t want to see/hear this?

2. ANIMALS. When’s the last time you got to pet/ride a horse?

3. You can check covered wagon ride off your bucket list.

4. This guy dressed as a Native American.

5. Most importantly, photo opportunities perfect for Instagram.

The Old West Fest is open Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm the month of October. It’s located at 1449 Greensbush Cobb Road, Williamsburg, OH. Oh, and parking is free.
