Hometown and Your Favorite Thing About It: Endicott. It has all my memories of growing up!

Areas of Study and Why You Chose Them:

Accounting: I was always interested in the financial aspects of the business world such as company profits, investments, stocks and how it worked.

Psychology: Learning about human behavior is a great deal of fun and interesting facts that could be applied to any situation.

Favorite Book: Catcher in the Rye

Favorite Movies: The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers

Favorite TV Shows: Prison Break and Grey’s Anatomy

Favorite Musicians/Bands: Eminem, Linkin Park, Backstreet Boys =)

Favorite Food: Almost everything except anything with mint and chai.

One Thing Most People Don’t Know About You: I can be a little too crazy sometimes.

What is your favorite thing about December? Christmas lights!

Name one class you took in the fall semester. What did you like most about it? Critical Thinking in Psychology (PSY217W). I loved how we presented every week and there was so much new information about human behavior that was so interesting.

Do you have a favorite winter treat? Pumpkin pie definitely!

What will you be doing over winter break? Sleeping in. Playing League of Legends and leveling up in Call of Duty Black Ops II most likely.

What do you love most about being a Chatham woman? Being exposed to so many backgrounds and ethnicities.

 

 

 

Mara Flanagan is entering her seventh semester as a Chapter Advisor. After founding the Chatham University Her Campus chapter in November 2011, she served as Campus Correspondent until graduation in 2015. Mara works as a freelance social media consultant in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She interned in incident command software publicity at ADASHI Systems, gamification at Evive Station, iQ Kids Radio in WQED’s Education Department, PR at Markowitz Communications, writing at WQED-FM, and marketing and product development at Bossa Nova Robotics. She loves jazz, filmmaking and circus arts.
