A Review of Some Fashionable Beagles

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chatham chapter.

This beagle is clearly emulating the spirit of Snoopy’s Flying Ace costume, and he is doing a great job. With those goggles and the ever-present red scarf, this good boy will be flying into enemy territory without a fear.

This pup is the new generation’s weatherman. It’s been said that weathermen are never right. He’s a little bit pupset about his profession’s reputation, but his great weather sense and unbelievable cuteness will prove them all wrong. Go for it, meteorologist beagle! We believe in you.

This pup is very hungry and this is very unfair. Be kind to this poor beagle and let her have a snack. She still loves you anyway, though. 0/10 would not let you near the hat collection again.

Ah yes, Sherlock Howles is here and he is on the case. No mysteries will be getting past this genius, even if he isn’t completely sure whether or not life revolves around the ball being thrown or the food dish being full. I would 100% trust him to find my missing cat along with his trusty sidekick, John Watchdog.

This pup is just trying to do his job. He’s pretty tired from chasing criminals all day. He just wants to have a nice picnic and a long nap. Anyone should be happy to be arrested by such a cute sheriff.

And we end with a pup of mystery. Zorro might be Spanish for fox, not beagle, but don’t tell this pup that. Any villain will happily be outmatched by his cunning.

Beagles are adorable dogs and that cuteness is only accentuated by great hats (and stylish scarves). However, a lot of brands do their testing on them because of their size and easy going temperament. Most of the animals used for testing live very short, brutal lives. A good place to find out more about this issue is the Beagle Freedom Project. Another way to help is to make sure the brands you are using are cruelty-free.
