Resolutions aren’t just for January 1st. The second half of the semester is the perfect time to reaffirm your goals or to work toward new ones.

Read the mid-semester resolutions of four of our team members, then share yours in the comments!

Amy Chau, Social Media Director

“Finish classes strong! Make an effort to go to gym at least once a week.”

Gretchen Geibel,  News/Lifestyle Section Editor

“When I have a lot to do, I often let myself get so overwhelmed by the thought of everything that’s due that I don’t end up actually DOING anything at all. I’ll take a nap or watch a movie instead. For the rest of the semester, I really hope to start making To-Do lists so that I can plan out what I need to do and when I need to do it so I can stop worrying so much and start being productive.”

Catherine Giles, Sustainability Writer

“The rest of my semester is going to be spent focusing on my academics instead of my social life. Clubs, student orgs, etc. have all taken over and my grades are really starting to suffer. Time to buckle down!”

Shannon Ward, News/Lifestyle Writer

“My goal for the rest of the semester is to stay ahead of my homework! I don’t have classes on Fridays, so I’m going to work a lot harder to get stuff done on the weekend. That way, I won’t have to scramble to pull things together on the weekdays.”
