What’s your perfect Sunday?
My perfect Sunday involves an early run around the city, then yoga, and then ending the day relaxing.

What do you like most about being on the tennis team?
I love my teammates as well as traveling to the PAC Conference Championships at the end of the season with them!

Why is FACE’s work close to your heart?
As you may know, FACE is a female empowerment group on campus that I started in the fall. We are committed to addressing discrimination issues based on gender but also want to raise awareness of crimes targeted to women including domestic violence, sexual assault, and harrassment. I feel passionate about rape prevention and bringing awareness to how unfortunately common crimes like this are on college campuses. I also feel very motivated about preserving a woman’s right to choose in regards to legal abortions and believe all women should have access to contraception methods unbiased to social class or economic status.

What is FACE up to? How can people get involved with FACE?

FACE’s most anticipated event will occur on April 14th called the Walk for Congo Women. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of the conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as well as monetary donations for Women for Women International’s program in the Congo that helps the victims of war crimes.

Dream Job?
My dream job would be working on research for medical treatments involving the use of stem cells. I hope whatever career path I take that I will always be motivated and challenging myself.

Why did you choose Chatham?
I fell in love with Chatham’s campus and the Shadyside area.
