This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chatham chapter.

The Fall 2013 course schedule is out! With hundreds of classes, it’s easy to miss exciting new offerings or returns of old favorites. From now until the beginning of the registration period, we’ll feature just a small selection of the extraordinary courses Chatham has to offer.

ART328: The Carnegie International

3 Credits

Wednesdays, 3pm-6pm

Pre-requisites: ART 132, ART 254, Permission of Instructor

If you never miss a trip to the museum and love studying creative traditions from around the world, this class will likely be one of your favorites. Taught by Dr. Roark, the course puts you right in the middle of artistic history as the 2013 Carnegie International opens in October. The extraordinary exhibition of global work only occurs every three to five years, so you won’t want to miss the chance to study it in-depth next semester.

Get Excited:

Explore the history of the Carnegie International and learn more about this year’s exhibition on the Carnegie Museum of Art website.

Of course, you can visit the Carnegie Museum of Art any time; admission is free with your Chatham ID!
