Let’s face it—Halloween is a diet killer. With the endless parade of chock-full candy bowls and gooey, frosted pumpkin cookies, it can be difficult not to indulge. Though Halloween is a cheat day for many…why not power through the temptation? Take it as a challenge. Here are some tasty options to replace those surgery wonders (that your body really doesn’t need).

1. With just a dip of white chocolate, these little berries are sure to satisfy any sugar craving. Not into white chocolate? Substitute for yogurt instead.

2. Cheese provides a good, quick serving of protein—and is carb free! Experiment with some of these cheesy delights for a filling, festive snack.

3. Have a weakness for peanut butter? Lather a tablespoon between two slices of green apples. Dot some mini marshmallows in the middle for a toothy grin!

4. Like mandarin oranges? The sweet fruit can easily be turned into a festive treat! A piece of celery poked into the center turns the citrus snack into a plump, juicy, pumpkin look-alike.

5. Simple and hassle-free, these fruity sticks are one of the healthiest baked-good or candy replacements. Small kabobs fixed with blackberries and cantaloupe will spur a new kind of temptation.

Enjoy!
