After August’s presedential debate, republican candidate, Donald Trump, called out moderator, Megyn Kelly: “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever.”

An artist in Portland, Oregon had one of the best responses to date. Artist Sarah Levy created a portrait of the republican candidate using her own menstrual blood. The portrait captures Trump perfectly and is sparking discussion across the nation.

“I heard the comments he made to Megyn Kelly and I was outraged that he was basically using women’s periods not just to avoid a political question but also to insult her and all women’s intelligence,” Levy told USA Today. Levy plans to auction off the piece and donate the proceeds to immigrants in the U.S. Levy hopes to create more pieces using her menstraul blood.
