Well, she’s done it again, folks. On December 11, the iconic Taylor Swift released her second album of 2020, evermore. The sister album to her earlier 2020 album folklore, evermore adds seventeen beautiful songs that match the caliber of Taylor Swift’s flawless discography.
As a Swiftie who also loves astrology, I, of course, took it upon myself to curate a list of every zodiac sign’s “song” from her new album. Disclaimer: I will probably playfully roast your sign – it’s all in good fun, I promise!
- Aries: “’tis the damn season”

Aries, for some reason you just give me the vibe of someone who would still mess around with someone from your hometown. Small flings are usually your thing, which is the kind of relationship Taylor conveys in this BOP.
- Taurus: “evermore”

Personally, I’ve never met a Taurus who isn’t over their ex. This song is likely to become one of Taylor’s best heartbreak songs, and Taurus, I’m sorry but you just exude that energy.
- Gemini: “dorothea”

Geminis, you all think you’re Dorothea, the main character at the forefront of everyone’s mind – and to be quite honest, you are. When I hear this song, I just KNOW that Taylor is singing about a Gemini.
- Cancer: “willow”

The lead single from the new album, “willow” is dreamy, romantic and a depiction of complete infatuation – it just had to go to you, Cancers. You guys are just the embodiment of traditional, sugar-sweet love.
- Leo: “gold rush”

Leos, you are also the main character, which is why I gave “gold rush” to you. Also, you’re lowkey possessive in the same way that the chorus comes across. BUT you’re very compelling, just like the song.
- Virgo: “cowboy like me”

Virgos, you were a little hard to place, but I had to go with “cowboy like me” because I can envision a Virgo acting super mysterious just for the drama of it all. This is also a very underrated song on the album, and Virgos are an underrated Zodiac sign in my opinion.

It was hard to choose between “ivy” and “willow” for Libra, but I settled on “ivy” because it shows an unhealthy infatuation with someone, and I’ve seen Libras repeat this cycle one too many times.
- Scorpio: “long story short”

In my opinion, Scorpios, you don’t listen to your intuition enough, and it gets you into trouble. This song portrays the results of such experiences. However, you are very resilient, hence the lyric, “long story short, I survived.”
- Sagittarius: “champagne problems”

Miss Taylor Swift’s sign! It’s also fitting that my favorite song is assigned to my favorite sign – that’s not why I picked this for you, though, Sagittarius. I chose this song simply because… commitment? A Sagittarius? I think not.

Possibly the saddest song on evermore, I gave this to Capricorn because of its frankness and ability to appreciate something for exactly what it is. Capricorns absolutely represent these sentiments.
- Aquarius: “closure”

When an Aquarius is done, they’re done. I speak from personal experience of having been an Aquarius for all of my life, thank you very much. But seriously, Aquarians truly don’t have a hard time letting go, for better or for worse.

Poor Pisces, you all have no backbone. I have watched so many Pisceans put up with so many crazy antics. And you all basically mother everything you touch, much like a Virgo or a Cancer, but you guys have such a strong tolerance for BS.
