Located in the center of campus, the Frank Porter Graham Student Union is a popular place for students to meet, study, eat, socialize and relax.
Plans to renovate the Union are under way. While construction for Phase I of the renovation will begin in the fall, the student body will vote and decide the fate of Phase II on February 8.
A large dry-erase board on the first floor of the Union gives students an opportunity to express their ideas about the renovation.
Students can pick up a free button if they wish to show their support for the renovation.
Phase I of the renovation includes the addition of a Wendy’s to the first floor, which currently contains the Cabaret as well as space to study and socialize.
