On Wednesday, March 28, UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and The Forte Foundation will host the 2012 Career Lab, from 5-8pm at the UNC Kenan Flagler Business School. The event will present panels of career women who will share how they have benefited both personally and professionally from a career in business and an MBA. There will be a keynote speaker; a presentation by admissions directors; and break-out sessions with panels discussing careers in finance, marketing, consulting and general management. 
 

The event is open to all undergraduate women from any major. It is free of cost.  Refreshments will be served.  Register and attend to have your name entered in a raffle. Prizes include a $100 gift certificate to the Apple Store, Gift Certificate for brunch at the Carolina Inn, Panera Bread gift certificates, a UNC Kenan-Flagler Backpack , t shirts and more. To register, visit: www.fortefoundation.org/careerlab

Brittany is a senior Visual Communications major in the UNC-CH School of Journalism and an Entrepreneurship minor, originally from Frederick, MD. This summer she interned in the fashion department of O, The Oprah Magazine in NYC. She has interned at the Durham Herald-Sun Newspaper and as a multi-media producer for the UNC Foreign Language Department and School of Education. Brittany enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, water sports and all things to do with the beach. In the future she hopes to work in the magazine industry, travel and continue practicing yoga.
