Campus Style: Caroline Cooling ’15

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapel Hill chapter.

As Revelry’s UNC campus stylist, Caroline Cooling has embraced her sense of style while also staying cozy and comfortable. In a style contest with the 91 other campus stylists across the country, Cooling has even made it into the top 11.

Her Campus: Why did you become a campus stylist for Revelry?

Caroline Cooling: Nobody on this campus really knows what Revelry is. It’s from Texas, which is where I’m from. It was founded by a woman who was a Delta Gamma, and they’re opening up to more people now. I’m working with people on getting game day dresses.  I went around and talked to boutiques about getting them in.

HC: How would you describe your style?

CC: I look for comfortable clothes, but I know how to dress it up. I’m more of an accessory person.

HC: How would you say Revelry has changed your style?

CC: It’s given me more options to get out of the stereotypical sorority girl yoga pants and t-shirt. They’re extremely nice dresses, and they are extremely comfortable.

HC: What’s your favorite item in your closet?

CC: I convinced my boss to let me get one of our bows [see above]. You can pin it on to things. It’s more versatile.

HC: How do you stay warm in the winter yet also stay fashionable?

CC: I like to do scarves because they keep my neck and my ears warm.

HC: What do you like about Revelry?

CC: I really love my boss. She’s not too much older than I am, so she’s really understanding that I have things with school. All of us girls have really formed a bond. I now have friends at schools all across the country.
