Campus Cutie: Jackson Boone ‘15

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapel Hill chapter.

Tall, dark, and handsome, this week’s Campus Cutie is junior Jackson Boone. If his smile doesn’t draw you in, he’s sure to get you with his witty sense of humor. Not only is he smart, athletic, and attractive, but he also has a soft spot for little kids. Got your attention yet? Read on to learn more about this week’s Campus Cutie!

Name: Jackson Boone

Hometown: Kannapolis, NC

Year: Junior

Major: Biology

Favorite Artist: The Lumineers

Favorite Food: My mom’s spaghetti

Favorite Sport: To watch, football. To play, tennis

Celebrity Crush: If you want my honest celebrity crush, it’s probably Ryan Reynolds. But I also like Mila Kunis.

Fun Fact: I am a soccer coach for the Orange Elephants, a group of five and six year olds who are absolutely adorable.

Life Motto: Hakuna Matata

Dogs or cats? Dogs

Coffee or tea? Sweet Tea

Beach or mountains? Mountains

Book or movie? Movie

City or country? Country

Rain or sun? Sun

Do you have any hidden talents? I play guitar and water ski.

Where would you love to visit? Italy.

What is your favorite UNC memory? This is going to sound cliche, but the NC State football game. Also my sophomore year, I went caroling in Davis Library and the UL with the guys on my hall.

What is your best pickup line? If I had a nickel for every time I saw a girl as beautiful as you, I’d have five cents. Works every time.

What do you look for in a girl? A girl who is outgoing, intelligent, able to keep up with my sense of humor, and preferably a Tar Heel.

Describe your dream first date. I’d pick her up in my private jet and we’d fly to Rome and have dinner under the stars. Of course, I might have to pick her at four in the morning because of the time change, but it would be okay.

What is your biggest pet peeve? When people have the toilet paper roll starting under rather than over. I can’t stand that, it makes me so mad. Ahh, it’s terrible. And in public places where you can’t even change it either.

Who would play you in your life movie? (with a smirk) Ryan Reynolds.

Why? Well, I assume I would get to meet him if he’s playing me and he has the look I’m going for.

If you could sit down and talk with any person (dead or alive) who would it be and why? PJ…PJ Hairston. I would sit that boy down and have a come to Jesus talk with him.

Who do you most look up to? I physically look up to the basketball players, but I emotionally look up to my dad.

What are your plans for after college? Dental School and exploring the world.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? A proud UNC alumni, eating cheese and wine before a football game cheering on my Tar Heels.

Name the top three things on your Bucket List. 1) Attend an NCAA Championship game with the Tar Heels in it. 2) Graduate Dental School. 3) Have an article written about me. Check.
