Whether he’s in the classroom or out on the court, Forrest Reynolds always brings his A game. This basketball-loving cutie has one of the coolest jobs a UNC student can have: Varsity manager of the UNC Basketball team. If you want to challenge someone to a one-on-one or watch a little bit of “Space Jam,” Forrest is your guy. Did I mention he can make a mean half-court shot and won $18,000 on ESPN?

Hometown:  Lexington, N.C.

Year:  Junior

Major: Sports Administration and History

HC: What is your favorite part about being a UNC student?

FR: Knowing that I will forever be a part of the Carolina family is a pretty special feeling, but my favorite part of being at Carolina is the friends I’ve made — shout-out 417 Hillsborough– and will continue to make.

HC: Favorite time of the year?

FR: Summer – no class, duh! And I like going to the beach to play golf.

HC: Favorite movie?

FR: “Space Jam.” Any movie combining M.J. and Looney Tunes is an automatic favorite.

HC: Which cartoon characters would you want to be on your very own Tune Squad?

FR: Flash, Bugs Bunny, Spiderman, and Captain America.

HC: What song would you want to play whenever you walk out on the court in the Dean Dome?

FR: “Take Care” by Drake. A close second is “Firework” by Katy Perry though.

HC: What is your opinion on dating apps?

FR: Not a huge fan. Pretty awkward for both parties in my opinion.

HC: Tell us about the worst date you’ve been on.

FR: I once went on a movie date, and the parents of the girl I went with watched the same movie we did like four rows up. Talk about awkward!

HC: If you could have dinner with your celebrity crush, who would it be and what would you do?

FR: I’d probably cook for Scarlett Johansson because I’m the world’s greatest cook that no one knows about.

HC: What do you look for in a significant other?

FR: I love sarcasm and a sense of humor.  If a girl can understand my jokes and sarcasm, their odds are better. I’m a fan of nice eyes and a good smile too.

EXSS-Sports Administration Major with a Minor in EntrepreneurshipLoves: Mindy Kaling, cheese, watching America's Next Top Model, and reading books about quantum physics.
