Favorite Cold Stone Ben and Jerry’s Flavor: Chunky Monkey
Â
Favorite UNC memory: Far too many to name just one.
Â
Ideal Date: I’ve always wanted to go to space. I think my ideal date would be a casual outing to the moon, where my date and I would enjoy a delicious steak dinner and a few classy cocktails as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra played the best of Tchaikovsky while we dined. Morgan Freeman would also be in attendance, narrating the evening.
Â
Advice for Incoming Freshmen: Work hard but play harder. You can sleep when you’re dead…or when you graduate.
Â
Dream Job: Cereal Entrepreneur. I dream of sailing the sugary, processed seas of cereal entrepreneurship and creating tasty treats that would make even Captain Crunch’s knees weak, tremble and buckle.
Â
Fun Facts: I have a belly button, and I’ve never lost a game of Connect 4. Well, I actually lost once, but I don’t want to talk about it. It will never happen again. Challengers welcome.
Â
Favorite Studying Spot:Â Ye Ole Waffle Shop.

Motto: “Screw it, let’s do it.” –Richard Branson

What I will miss most about UNC : I know it sounds corny but honestly, it’s the people. I have met some truly incredible kids here. However, it’s not goodbye; it’s see you later.
Â
What do you see yourself doing after graduation? A lot of my time over the past couple months has gone to starting a business that I plan to take out to California after graduation. It’s top secret. If I told you… I’d have to take you out to dinner.
Â
As you can tell, Alex has a fabulous sense of humor. His creativity, ability not to take himself (or life) too seriously and the fact that his ideal date would be a trip to the moon with classical music playing in the background make him this week’s campus cutie!
Â
During his four years at UNC, Alex has certainly made his presence known on campus. Alex is currently the social chair and a member of the UNC Rugby Team and is the creative director for Heelprint Communications.
Â
Be sure to follow Alex on Twitter to see how his ambition to be a cereal entrepreneur plays out in the future. Maybe if you stop by Ye Olde Waffle Shop you’ll be lucky enough to catch him devising his business plan. Wherever Alex ends up after graduation, I’m sure that his great personality will serve him well — even if he does end up in space.Â
