Do you love books? Watch a lot of YouTube? Then you’ve probably heard about BookTube, a community of YouTubers that make bookish content. In case you haven’t though, here are six BookTubers you should subscribe to ASAP.

BooksandLala

BooksandLala is my go-to BookTuber when I want to watch long-form creative content. Kayla, who helms the channel BooksandLala, has such innovative ideas. She’s entertaining, funny and also uses her platform to discuss important issues like Black Lives Matter. My favorite recent video of hers? “Copying Booktubers’ Thumbnails for a Year.”

withcindy

Out of all the BookTubers on this list, withcindy is probably the most versatile. Cindy’s channel used to be named Readwithcindy, but she recently switched over to withcindy so she can incorporate more content on movies and travel, along with her bookish content. Cindy is laugh-out-loud funny, and her commentary is spot on. My favorite videos of hers? All her videos on Sarah J. Maas’ novels.

Mina Reads

Mina Reads is a new favorite of mine. She reads such a wide range of genres — fantasy, romance, literary fiction, thrillers — that make her content always feel fresh. Because of her, I was inspired to read more adult fantasy! One of my favorite reading vlogs of hers is when she reads the Ice Planet Barbarian series by Ruby Dixon. Be prepared for hilarity and intelligent commentary!

Chandler Ainsley

Chandler Ainsley has been a long-time favorite BookTuber of mine. Like Kayla from BooksandLala, her vlogs are innovative and fun. My favorite video of hers is a Choose Your Own Adventure-esque vlog, in which viewers went on their own interactive vlogging adventure!

remarkablylisa

For any romance readers out there, you must watch remarkablylisa! Her bookish content is romance-centered, and a go-to whenever I need to focus on happily-ever-afters instead of the real world. Lisa is an avid romance reader too, and I always end up adding so many books to my TBR after watching her videos. One of my favorite videos is when she tries out popular women’s fiction titles

Drinking By My Shelf

Emma from Drinking By My Shelf is another go-to for feel-good and creative challenge vlogs. My favorite videos are when she attempts to read a whole series — Percy Jackson, Princess Diaries, A Series of Unfortunate Events and more — in only 24 hours.

Bookish content on YouTube abounds, and there are so many other favorites I haven’t discussed yet. BookTube is a growing, tight-knit community and one I highly recommend joining, either as a viewer or creator.
