5 Sundresses for Less Than $50

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapel Hill chapter.

Guess what, collegiettes? It’s finally that magical time of the year when the sun comes out, the flowers are in bloom in Chapel Hill and you can finally relegate your sweaters and skinny jeans to the back of your closet. Yep, it’s sundress season, and we know you all can’t wait to don some floral print.  We found five cute picks for you to try out this season that won’t break your bank.

Roxy Dear Delight Dress, $44.50; roxy.com

We HC girls love a great pink dress. This one’s subtle yet dynamic print and colorblocking make it a must-have for spring.

Windsor Mint Red Floral Sundress, $39.90; windsorstore.com

Mint green is a great color for spring 2013, and pairing it with a dainty pink floral print is a match made in sundress heaven.  Plus, the exposed zipper on the back gives this sweet frock a little edge.

JC Penney Floral Print Sundress, $25; jcpenney.com

Fact: every girl needs a multicolored floral sundress.  This one’s empire waist makes it a flattering choice for most body types.

O’Neill Fields Dress, $45.50; pacsun.com

Doesn’t this dress remind you of relaxing with a Creamsicle on a lazy summer day, or sunning on a Carolina beach?  We can’t wait till finals are over so we can rock this look on vacay.

ASOS Sundress in Bright Aztec Print, $49.88; us.asos.com

We’re in love with the tribal print paired with the bold black straps on this dress.  Rock this with black ankle boots and you’ve got a perfectly edgy combination.
