I’m sorry Dunkin lovers, but I am a Starbucks girl.

Starbucks originated in Seattle and traveled basically everywhere after that with more than 6,000 stores just in the US. Their menu includes around 50 distinct drinks at any given time with innumerable variations of those options. Feeling overwhelmed? Well, here are my top five favorite Starbucks drinks and how to order them. Depending on my mood, I have various options from tea and refreshers to coffee and frappuccinos.

Black Iced Tea Lemonade with Mango Juice Inclusion

Now, this is my top drink and number one order, especially for a nice fruity refresher.

You just order a black iced tea lemonade (sweetened, of course) and ask to add a splash of mango juice inclusion. This mix of juices comes out to make the most perfect sweet drink. Pro tip: order light ice so your drink doesn’t get watered down!

Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher with Lemonade

The very berry hibiscus refresher is classic and very popular at Starbucks, yet most just order the refresher without thinking. If you order it, make sure to substitute lemonade instead of water, and this will make the drink sweeter and even better! Pro tip: order light ice so your drink doesn’t get watered down!

Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with Hazelnut Syrup

If I am feeling a frappuccino, this is my absolute go-to, this is a playful and sweet (of course) frappuccino. So how do you order it? Order a vanilla bean frappuccino and, depending on the size, you get dd pumps of hazelnut syrup! Add two pumps to a tall, three to a grande and four to a venti. This sweet drink almost tastes like a cupcake explosion in your mouth. Pro tip: order a cake pop with your drink to make your order complete!

Java Chip Frappuccino

Now, not many people remember this frappuccino; it was raving around 2015, but it is still one of my Starbucks staples. I don’t really do too much to this drink to modify it, but I still consider it one of my favorites. If you’re a chocolate lover like me, you might like an extra pump of mocha syrup in this frappuccino. The java chip frappuccino is chocolatey but will also give you the hint of coffee you need in the morning for a nice kickstart to your day. Pro tip: order this at night for a late dessert frappuccino.

Iced Blonde Vanilla Latte with Hazelnut Syrup and Cold Foam

Okay, I know this one is a mouthful to order, but I can assure you it is amazing. I order a regular iced blonde vanilla latte with two pumps of hazelnut syrup for a grande. When you add vanilla cold foam, it tastes even better. If you’re like me and not the biggest coffee fan, this might be the drink for you — it isn’t too strong and has just the right flavor and, of course, sweetness. Pro tip: order this drink with almond milk!

Bonus: During the holiday season another one of my favorites is the Peppermint Mocha frappuccino.

I know ordering drinks at Starbucks with modifications may be scary but I promise all these drinks are worth ordering and will have your mouth watering!
