The main campus in Canterbury is located just outside the beautiful gates of Canterbury Cathedral. It is one of the few universities that offers a different range of courses. These are not limited to a similar route these range from: Teacher Training to English Literature from Drama to Midwifery and many more.

The Canterbury site is the main campus site and home to a majority of the courses, which are available at the university. Canterbury is a diverse and beautiful city – a World Heritage site, a centre for the arts and a great destination for shopping and socialising, which is perfect for the average student but not their bank accounts. It is home to three other universities: University of Kent, University College for the creative arts and recently The American University which is a branch of GAU (Girne American University).

The Broadstairs Campus is located close to the seaside towns of Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate an area known as the Thanet. The campus is near the Westwood Cross shopping and entertainment centre, Margate’s Turner Contemporary art gallery and is close to several beautiful beaches and historic towns. So although, it doesn’t host the biggest student nightclubs and isn’t the jam-packed city, like the main sight, however there is still much to do, you get both the serenity and the liveliness of the town.

 

The Medway Campus is part of the Universities at Medway partnership, a thriving student community based on the Chatham Maritime site. Situated next door to the Historic Chatham Dockyard, The campus provides a supportive and professional learning, teaching and research environment. It is a popular choice for people looking to develop a career in the education or health and social care sectors. It is a short journey to the famous shopping mall: Bluewater.

The Salomons Centre specialises in providing postgraduate study, training and research opportunities, together with bespoke consultancy and knowledge exchange services.The centre and its staff have a national reputation for excellence in teaching and research in Clinical Psychology and Leadership and Management Development. Salomons provides a peaceful, supportive and professional learning environment in the heart of the Kent countryside.

All sites are home to the Touchdown cafes where one can purchase; both hot and cold snacks and drinks during the day. Each site has its own library. A multi-million pound, award-winning Library and Student Centre was built in Canterbury and is known as Augustine House.

So whatever campus you may end up at, you will never lack in the student experience and there would always be a committed team to help you through your time at Christ Church.
