Money, Money, Money: 4 Scholarships Closing in May

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at CAU chapter.

“Ran up a check” is the mood, motto, and status for 2020. It seems as if COVID-19 and a lot of other unfortunate circumstances are attempting to stray us away from the bigger picture, prosperity. But, this global pandemic isn’t stopping anything over here which is why I’ve taken this time to refocus. I am focusing on myself, my health, my brand, and this 2020-2021 university tuition. As we all know, everything comes with a price, and the tuition at the Illustrious Clark Atlanta University (CAU) is no different. A price tag of $39,000 is due every academic year, yet it’s sooo worth it.  It may sound crazy but it’s not as crazy as $70,000 per academic year (yes, a university is charging almost $100k). To sum it all up, in the words of T.T. (aka Kimberly Elise) from the 1996 film, “Set It Off”– “I need that money.”All jokes aside, I felt that. I’m almost certain that you’re reading this because you “need that money” too. I won’t keep you long so, here are 4 scholarships that will close in May 2020:

As you apply for these scholarships, I wish you nothing but success. That university tuition is no joke, and it can be a very strenuous process, especially when that Associate, Bachelor, Doctoral, and Master’s degree is something that you really want. I pray that you prosper, and do everything that you set out to do. I want you to also remember: whatever is meant for you to have, you will receive it. Take your time. Keep your spirits high and don’t stress about anything. Great things are ahead.
