What are your short-term goals? Short-term goals: Get accepted to my one or all of the institutions I plan on transferring to for Dual Degree Engineering. Receive a scholarship to help aid me at the next institution. Help lead my team to place in the top two in our conference region.
What are your long-term goals? Long term goals: Receive my masters degree in Engineering. Work for a company that I can successfully display my technical and creative skills. Coach a fast pitch softball team, either travel ball or college. Continue to work out and eat healthy to reach the ultimate Beyoncé body.

Why CAU? “I chose to attend CAU because I have always wanted to attend a Historically Black University. I love the idea of acquiring a higher level of education while surrounded by so much culture. Also I received an academic and athletic scholarship to attend.”
What are you involved in on campus? “No organizations, but I play collegiate softball for CAU and I am a research student for the Engineering program.”
One piece of advice you would give: “Always be you, because everyone was sent here for a purpose.”
Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years? “In the next 10 years I see myself married (hopefully to my boyfriend now), with at least two children, owning my own home in California, and working as a Mechanical Engineer for a company that I absolutely enjoy. “

What’s your favorite holiday? “My favorite holiday is definitely Christmas, because now being in college it’s the only time of the year I really get to spend time with my family. Also everything about Christmas makes me feel like a little kid again.”
