What inspires you? Wanting to live a comfortable, luxurious lifestyle is what inspires me to reach my goals. I do not consider myself materialistic, but I am high maintenance with an obsession with fashion. My mother always taught me that there’s nothing wrong with wanting and having nice things, as long as you are willing to work for it. Being a reporter/ anchor gives me the opportunity to do what I love and live a good, comfortable lifestyle.

Favorite Food: I have two favorite foods. I love soul food and hibachi from Benihana.

Favorite hangout spot: My favorite hangout spot is my grandma’s house. I love it when we all get together as a family and have dinner. My grandma spoils her grandkids, so her house is the ultimate hangout spot for being around an adult without getting in trouble.
Why CAU? I chose CAU after researching different colleges and HBCUs, and it was the right fit for me. My mother graduated from Morris Brown College, and before the school closed, she would always take me to the homecoming games. I knew at the age of five that I wanted to attend an HBCU. It’s funny because at the beginning of my matriculation, I chose CAU because of the fashion program but ended up changing my major. It all worked out because CAU has the best Mass Media program.
Dream Vacation? My dream vacation spot is Africa. I have always wanted to go since I was a kid, and to set foot on any country in that beautiful continent would be a dream come true. I hope to experience Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, South Africa and Sudan.
