Celebrity Baby Fever Szn

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at CAU chapter.

It’s spring time and for the next six months some of our favorite celebs are having kids and it’s exciting, yet refreshing to see happy couples begin or continue into a new chapter in their lives by having children. Being that during this season, you will see a lot of people announce their pregnancies and I know for a lot of us collegiates we love kids, but who else is getting pregnant?! As we celebrate these mommies, we should reflect on how we may be mothers of our own soon or what it was like for our mothers having us as babies.

Ciara & Russell Wilson

I can’t think of a more beautiful yet genuine couple like these two. Ever since their engagement in early 2016 to the surprise destination wedding in the summer with Ciara’s beautiful gown and the Instagram announcement of her having another child was all too much for us to take. Since the announcement, we have seen Ciara has become the face of Revlon, back in the studio working on music, and grace the cover of numerous magazines with her bump and the men of her life (her son Future Zahir and hubby Russell). In the mist of love and baby fever, the ‘Promise’ singer stirred controversy when she debuted naked protraits onto Instagram of her and the family in a Harpers Bazzaar spread. Nevertheless, the expecting mother silenced the hate by spreading love and reposting parodies of the infamous spreas. We say way to go, hot mama!

Mrs. Beyoncé Knowles-Carter & Jay Z

Ms. Queen Bey shocked the world and Black Twitter on the 1st day of Black History Month when she broke the internet with her pregnancy announcement. Since that big day, social media went crazy and went as far as recreating the photos that set the internet on fire. Some were complete fails, but overall we laughed all month long.
