Atlanta is packed with hidden gems and hotspots that are perfect for a day of exploring, eating, and having fun. So, if you’re anything like me and love a mix of good vibes, delicious food, and scenic views, this guide is for you! From brunch to arcade games, here’s how to make the most of your day in the city. This is a cau student’s guide for you!

Toast on Lenox

Start your day with brunch at Toast on Lenox, one of the most popular brunch spots in Atlanta. This Black-owned restaurant serves up Southern comfort with a twist, featuring everything from French toast to lobster and grits. Be prepared for a bit of a wait because it’s a local favorite, but the vibes and food make it well worth it. Grab a mimosa (if you’re 21+), enjoy the lively atmosphere, and fuel up for the rest of your day.

Little Five Points

After brunch, take a stroll through Little Five Points, Atlanta’s most eclectic and artsy neighborhood. It’s the perfect place to thrift shop, grab cool streetwear, or just soak in the creative energy. You’ll find everything from vintage record stores to colorful murals, making it an Instagram-worthy stop. This is definitely a fav to many CAU students. Whether you’re looking for funky fashion finds or just want to people-watch, L5P is a must-visit for any ATL explorer.

Rreal Tacos

By the time lunch rolls around, you’ll definitely want to hit up Rreal Tacos for some of the best Mexican food in the city. Located in Midtown, this spot serves up authentic street tacos that taste like they came straight from Mexico. The menu has a variety of options, including birria, al pastor, and carne asada, plus refreshing agua frescas to cool you down. It’s quick, affordable, and the perfect midday meal before heading to your next destination.

Ponce City Market

Next up, head over to Ponce City Market, a massive indoor-outdoor marketplace with shopping, dining, and a rooftop amusement park. This spot is a favorite among college students because there’s always something to do, whether it’s browsing local boutiques, grabbing dessert, or taking in the skyline views. If you’re feeling adventurous, check out the Skyline Park on the roof, where you can play mini-golf or ride the slide overlooking the city. It’s the ultimate spot to chill and recharge before your evening plans.

Your 3rd Spot

Wrap up your day at 3rd Spot, an entertainment venue that mixes gaming, food, and a lounge vibe all in one place. Whether you’re into arcade games, bowling, or even curling, there’s something here for everyone. It’s the perfect way to end the night with friends, good food, and a little competition. Grab a bite, challenge your crew to a game, and close out your Atlanta adventure on a high note!

With this itinerary, you’ll hit some of the best spots in Atlanta while keeping things fun, affordable, and perfect for a college student’s budget. So, grab your friends, plan your day, and get ready to explore the city like a pro!
