Created in 2005 by Carter Bayes and Craig Thomas, the TV serie How I Met Your Mother has more than 2,000 episodes in nine seasons and, to this day, is a well-known sitcom. Winner of seven Emmy Awards, it came to an end in 2014 with an unexpected and controversial finale.
Now, four years after the conclusion, we ask ourselves: where are the actors who were part of our day and caused us several emotions for such a long time?
1. Ted Mosby
Known for playing our beloved Ted Mosby and also for being the main narrator of the series, Joshua Thomas Radnor, 43, is is an American director, writer, screenwriter and now part of the cast of the Rise cast as Lou Mazzuchelli. Surprisingly, the actor is also part of the musical duo Radnor and Lee – they even did a concert in Brazil the beginning of this year!
2. Marshall Eriksen
The actor Jason Jordan Segel, 37, or otherwise known as Marshall Eriksen, is an American writer and musician. Some other of his hits include Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up, I Love You and The Discovery.
3. Robin Scherbatsky
Born as Jacoba Francisca Maria, “Cobie” Smulders, 35, is not only an actress, but also a Canadian activist and model. Recently, she gave life to agent Maria Hill in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She also plays the “mother” in the new Netflix series Misadventures in Series.
4. Barney Stinson
Actor Neil Patrick Harris, 44, played Barney Stinson, a role for which he received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. He also starred in Glee, American Horror Story: Freak Show and Misadventures in Series, as Count Olaf.
5. Lily Aldrin
The 43-year-old American actress became well-known as Lily Aldrin on the series How I Met Your Mother. However, Alyson Hanningan had played a number of well-known roles in her career, such as Willow Rosenberg in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in Angel, as the eccentric Michelle Flaherty, in the American Pie films, and also as Trina Echolls in Veronica Mars.
