Scary Campus and Horror Casperian Stories

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Casper Libero chapter.

It does not matter how courageous you are. Listening to horror stories or attending a haunted house – like those very popular around Kansas City – is something that easily gives you goose bumps. Believe it or not, these weird feelings might be felt by some Cásper Líbero’s students when they hear all different and scary stories that surround college’s hallways, rooms and stairs.

Some old employees said they have heard strange noises, people calling their names and have seen spirits around the school.

Dafne Cantoia, Public Relations student, was on the building with her friends. She got into the elevator and it went up by itself to the 9th floor – when it was supposed to go down. “It opened the door, but nobody was waiting for it, then it started making terrifying noises all the way down”.

Weird things also happened to Alexandre Gonçalves and Carolina Moraes, both Journalism students. “We got locked inside a very dark escape stair and we heard strange noises, like a person. Then we went up the stairs as quickly as we could but, once again, we got tied in”, said Alexandre. Carolina told that the light was really scary and the wall was full of draws. They were taking pictures for a project when the door locked by itself. That’s when they ran and asked for someone to open the door from the outside.

In addition, some people tell scary things happened to the visitors at Cásper Líbero. A woman, whose religion is Spiritism, got terrified as soon as she got on the 8th floor and left the building without doing the job she was supposed to. She said the place had a very bad energy.

Cásper’s firemen team also have scary stories to tell. It is said that one of the workers was walking around the fifth floor at night and saw a lady. He said “you can’t be here right now”, but she didn’t give any attention. She continued walking and he went after her. All of a sudden, she disappeared.

Well, these stories might not be true, but, if I were you I would watch out next time I walk around college by myself… who knows.
