Casper Class of 2017: The Memories Don’t End Here

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Casper Libero chapter.

We are almost in the middle of the year. 2017 has flied such as the Pomboca and prom is coming. In this exciting and dedicated moment, a great team from the Commission C17 talked a little about how it is trying to execute everyhting possible, in order to overcome the senior’s expectations.

The Commission’s president is Aline Cosentino. She is responsible for the organization, as the Commission is divided in subgroups like products, communication, actions, events and others. She is also the principal point of communication between prom’s agency, the Às, and the Commission. When is necessary, she talks with university’s group and always tries to contemplate all opinions as best as possible.

Beatriz Gomes Salvador works with the actions, which aims to make the adhred seniors happy (and bring more people), products that seniors will receive, and food, entering in contact with prom’s buffet.

And talking about food, the C17 guaranteed that will schedule food during the midnight in party day and have surprises in the open bar.

Bia’s cooworker, Marcela Barbato deals with product suppliers and artists, e.g. the carnival kits that seniors receive in JUCA and along the year. She said that planning the pre event The Carnival Doesn’t Finish Here was difficult, but also gratifying.

Ana Paula works with actions at the parties, makes videos for Facebook’s page “Pomboca” and for pre events. She said that she dedicates at least one hour a day for the Commission and every detail turns into another meeting.

Pomboca is the name of the Committee’s mascot because of the little doves that live in the escadão, and refers to Casper, in another way. The news are spread through the Facebook’s page to everybody.

Letícia Negresiolo said it’s a hard meet demands, but very important, because it is a revolution and she deals with it very passionately. She leads the graduation ceremony and the sub committee of shows and communication.

This year’s slogan is “It Does Not End Here”, so the secrets are the peculiarities of the parties, making the students eager for them.
