Getting Through Midterms (With Help from Cher Horowitz)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Case chapter.

Midterms are a difficult time and the cold weather does nothing but make it worse. The middle of the semester can also sometimes feel as it will never be summer but, luckily, you’re not alone in the struggle. Here to help narrate this mid-semester slump is Cher Horowitz.

Preparing for midterms is a slow process.  You need to mentally prepare yourself before actually preparing for your exams and papers; however, getting out of this funk can be difficult.

What makes it worse is all of this cold weather.  It’s hard to think about spring break when you’re just trying not to freeze, and while you’re trying to stay warm, you might accidentally start looking like a Monet…

But who needs to look cute when you’re studying, right? And by “studying,” that definitely means shopping online, listening to new music, watching Netflix…I mean, “studying?”

But you’ll have to start buckling down sometime -studying, writing papers, and taking tests all have to happen at some point.  Unfortunately.  But you can’t do it without food!  I mean, a girl’s gotta eat, right?

After studying hard, writing papers, and overall cramming for everything, you’re more than ready for spring break.  The only thing you can really say about your grades is…

And who knows, maybe you seemed pretty intelligent in that paper you wrote on something you’re sure you’ve never heard of!
