Like every year in the past, this holiday season is full of the premieres of what seem to be amazing movies! Whether you’re a fan of romance, comedy, drama, or anything in-between, there’s definitely something for you in the 2018 season.

1. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Spider-Man takes on a new task this time: training the next generation!

2. Mary Poppins Returns

Remember this legend? She returns to visit Jane and Michael to remind them what it’s like to be a kid again.

3. Welcome to Marwen

Steve Carell plays Mark Hogancamp, a man who was attacked and lost most of his memory. In this based-on-a-true-story movie, travel with Mark to a fantasy world that he invents and participates in to try and remember his life, past and present.

4. Holmes & Watson

The iconic Step Brothers duo is back playing Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson in this comedy of a new Holmes mystery and adventure.

5. On the Basis of Sex

Based on the true story of Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, this movie follows her and her husband as they confront the Supreme Court with a case of gender discrimination.

6. Aquaman

DC Comics brings to life one of their most recognized heroes. Aquaman faces conflict both from the underwater world of Atlantis and the world above water. How will he save both?

7. Second Act

Jennifer Lopez plays Maya, a woman who is ready to prove that everyone has a chance to turn their life around and make a name for themselves, even on Madison Ave.

8. Vice

With a star-studded cast like Christian Bale, Amy Adams, and Steve Carell, this movie tells the story about how a man quietly rose in the ranks of Washington D.C. and became George W. Bush’s VP.

9. Bumblebee

If you loved the Transformers series, this is the origin story of the beloved Bumblebee and how he came to be in the franchise.

10. Mary Queen of Scots

This historical adaptation of Mary Stuart, Queen of France at 16, demonstrates the struggles she faced as a female ruler. The movie also depicts how she rivaled with Queen Elizabeth I, who was faced with similar expectations and struggles.
