Hi Her Campus Carleton! I am Ella Corbin. This is my second year with HCC and this group of incredible girls! I am going into my fourth and final year of the Bachelor of Journalism at Carleton, and I have a minor in Communications and Media Studies as well.
I am so excited to continue my role as Podcast Director and deliver you all some really fun episodes! The podcast team has big goals that we hope to implement before we pass our torches off to the next batch of podcast executives.
I initially joined the team because I wanted to bring something special to the club, and I am so proud of the work that the podcast team has accomplished in only a couple months. HerCast didn’t exist before Grace, Nessa and I built it from ground zero, and with the support and inspiration from HCC President, Gabriella. We can’t wait for what’s to come!
We have plans to expand the podcast into something bigger and better… but that’s for us to know, and you to find out.
So, a little bit about me: I’m from Nova Scotia (lots of lobster :D). I’ve been coaching gymnastics for seven years and also work as the Sport Administrative Coordinator for a local soccer club, where I did really rewarding work —including building and designing their whole new website. I have a passion for baseball, and my dream is to be the next Hazel Mae (big dreams).
I am so pumped to continue this position and see what all our executives do this year, and all the stories that get written for us! Go HCC!
