Are you ever texting someone and trying to find that perfect emoji but it is just not there? Out of all the emotions that exist, there are emojis that need to be created (like, oh I don’t know, people of various ethnicities) and ones that are just downright strange! Yes, we are aware that emojis are a Japanese import but hey, some are just confusing! Here are some emojis that we all see but we just don’t get!

Creepy smile anyone? Is it a mask? Is it a monster? No one knows but it is terrifying…

Can’t tell if this is a sash or the strap of a bag that’s on the shirt. It’s probably part of Zenon of the 21st Century’s wardrobe.

Technically this one is part of the weather section, but that doesn’t mean we know what it is! Maybe it’s the top of a mountain. Or the top of a volcano. All we know is that it doesn’t look like Southern California weather! NOTE: Okay, now that I see the emoji on the computer, it looks more identifiable as a…actually I still don’t know.

I know this is a food emoij but I’ve never eaten anything like this. Cotton candy swirly desert thing? Let’s be honest, it does look delicious.

BK? Burger King? Beyonce Knowles? How many BK buildings do you see while cruising around town? Because I don’t see any.

I suppose this guy is supposed to be wearing a wet suit but it’s looking more like an all black Mission Impossible style outfit. Not too great for surfing.

Is it a gift tag? Or maybe a really elaborate business card? Most possibly the card at the end of a landyard. For some reason, the more I stare at it, the more it grows on me.

Okay I caved with this one and looked online to find out what it is. So far the best thing I could come up with is “diamond shape with a dot inside.” Yeah, not sure where they were going with this.
